Mike Bowden is the editor and founder of Motorbike Mad, an independent UK motorcycle publication covering motorcycle news, motorsport, industry developments, classic motorcycles, road safety, legislation and the people and stories behind life on two wheels.

A lifelong motorcycle enthusiast and rider, Mike created Motorbike Mad from a genuine passion for motorcycles and motorcycle culture. The publication combines current motorcycle news with original features, interviews, event coverage, historical stories and independent analysis of issues affecting UK riders.

Mike regularly attends motorcycle shows, racing events and other industry occasions, speaking directly with riders, racers, manufacturers, organisers and members of the motorcycling community. Motorbike Mad has also undertaken its own research and contacted organisations including government agencies and industry bodies to provide additional information and context for its reporting.

His editorial approach is straightforward: tell the story accurately, fairly and from a motorcyclist's perspective. Where possible, Motorbike Mad goes beyond announcements and press releases to explore why a story matters to riders and the wider motorcycle community.
